As Gianna moves to exit, Patti enters modelling a rather extraordinary black gold dress with black lace accessories and black heeled shoes. She sits on the steps. Silvy Raymonde held up a gold shoe – inviting her to try it on.    

“Would you like to try on the beautiful gold shoes?”

AFTER THE FASHION SHOW

Silvy Raymonde says “Well we didn’t sell a lot apart from the Kissing Dress, but the show was fabulous!”
The models are exhausted. They are glad to be wearing their own comfortable clothes again.
Blanche is happy that the show went well. She thanks Malvina for sewing her dress – that saved the show (at least as far as her outfit anyway!)
Everyone is tired but happy. It was a very long show with lots of fabulous outfits.
Tennessee says that sometimes she had a hard time keeping a straight face! It was so dramatic – but she found that amusing. And it worked – like a contemporary dance or theatre piece. At least she thinks so. It reminded her of dancing in New York.
After everyone has left. Fi says that she noticed the golden shoes didn’t fit any of the models. She is determined to try them on.
Louis is very tired now as the show was a lot of hard work to organise. But he tells Fi, “OK but just a few minutes. I want to get home. And Paris traffic can get very busy of an evening.
“Look, Louis, it just about fits”
Louis says “Well, you might be able to get them on but I bet you won’t be able to stand in them, and you certainly can’t walk in them”
“Come on, Cinderella – I’m taking you to my palace”
Fi laughs
